Charity lecture: Working for animal welfare worldwide
An event in aid of WSPA
Morning
talk, 17th October 2009
The World Society for the Protection of Animals has been promoting animal welfare for more than 25 years. This talk will take you on a journey around the world, learning about WSPA’s work. From projects helping stray dogs, to the orangutan sanctuary featured in Orangutan Diary and the bear sanctuary where Bear Rescue was filmed, from projects helping farm animals and horses to those campaigning for whales, this talk will be enjoyed by anyone who likes animals. All profits will be donated to WSPA. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions.
The speaker: Suzanne Rogers is founder of Learning About Animals but also works for WSPA as Programmes Manager for working equines. This talk, however, will cover a wide range of WSPA’s work, of which horses are just one small part.
Woking, Surrey is in easy access of the M25, M3 and M4 and in walking distance of the railway station.
