Behaviour consultations:

Consultations cost £65 for the initial consultation, which includes a full report, step-by-step guides for behaviour modification and back-up telephone advice. Further consultations are available and priced according to individual requirements. Many insurance policies will cover behavioural consultation fees.

I don’t charge travel expenses unless you are more than 1 hour’s drive away so I cover Surrey, parts of Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas but can sometimes travel further: contact me for a quotation.

Behaviour lessons:

If you don’t have a particular problem with your horse, or don’t own a horse, but just want to learn more about equine behaviour then I can run one-off or regular lessons. Individual sessions - £30 for 1 hour lessons; regular lessons only available in Surrey.  Discounts per person for up to ten people. You don’t necessarily need a horse for these lessons. Can be tailored for adults, teenagers or children.

Nervous about hacking? During a consultation we can draw up a personalised programme for you that will gradually build up your confidence and teach your horse to be less ‘spooky’; if you need that extra bit of help we can work through it together through regular visits. First consultation £65 and further visits priced according to time/requirements/location.

One-to-one clicker training sessions:

£35 for the first session (longer to discuss aims etc.) and then £20 on subsequent sessions. This is only available for some areas local to me.

Career advice and work experience:

I am unable to take work experience students to consultations with me as I am not insured for this. However, if you are interested in a career as a behaviourist I am happy to spend a morning or afternoon with you to discuss what it means to be an equine behaviourist, or other related careers. I can come to visit you, or you can come to me. Costs £35 for half a day, if more than one person this will be cheaper per person. If you live too far away but would still like some advice we can speak by phone - £5 for half an hour of advice and discussion.

Want to hold a lecture or workshop? I also do talks to groups of people on a variety of topics. Rates for 2 hour presentations vary between £50 and £200 (split between everyone its not very much at all!) according to area and length of talk. Workshops around £400 per day depending on location.
